Brooke Mullin is a Behavioral Health Intervention Services provider in the Cedar Rapids/Anamosa offices. Brooke also serves as the Quality Assurance Clinical Documentation Specialist for the company. She has been with the Life Connections team for 5 years.
Brooke has experience working with youth in many different capacities. Brooke has been a Case Worker for a new program at a local non-profit, a responder for in-home emergency calls, has worked at a detention facility, and in a classroom.
Brooke feels BHIS allows her to build professional relationships with her clients and she feels she is really able to see the improvement families make in services. She feels this is really the best part of the job! Brooke shared that families using the support that is given to make a difference in their lives is what her job is all about.
McKenna Shield, B.A.
McKenna Shield began her career with Life Connections in May 2019. She is a Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) provider and Family and Community Services (FCS) provider in the Cedar Rapids area.
McKenna graduated from the University of Iowa in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and minors in sociology and human relations. McKenna has worked with young children as well as teenagers. She enjoys helping her clients achieve the best version of themselves that they can be.
