Evan Fair is a Behavioral Health Intervention Services Provider and Family and Community Support Provider. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in school counseling at Loras College with the aspiration to work in an inner-city high school.
Evan graduated from the University of Dubuque with a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in education. While in college, Evan worked at impoverished schools throughout the US, including Houston and in his hometown of Dubuque.
Evan specializes in working with clients who struggle with anger management, depression, and anxiety. He utilizes mindfulness techniques as well as a relationship-based, client-centered approach to working with clients. Furthermore, Evan collaborates with people in many aspects of the client’s life in order to proceed with a comprehensive plan to assist the client in the difficulties in their life.
Joshua Bird is an FCS and BHIS provider in our Life Connections Dubuque location. He has been employed at Life Connections since November of 2019. Joshua provides services to clients ranging from four to sixteen years old and has a deep interest in working with children and adolescents.
Joshua Graduated with his B.S. from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Joshua majored in psychology and minored in neuroscience and biology. Currently attending Loras College as a graduate student, Joshua plans on graduating with his M.A. in Clinical Psychology in the hopes of becoming licensed in both Wisconsin and Iowa as a tLMHC immediately upon graduation.
While not working at Life Connections and enjoying sessions with clients at their homes and out in the community, Joshua works at ABC learning Center as the lead teacher in the 4-year-old preschool classroom. Joshua enjoys utilizing a humanistic approach when working with children and adolescents and hopes to become registered in play therapy.
When Joshua is not attending work or school, you can most likely find him with a camera in his hand, taking photographs of downtown or nature areas such as Swiss Valley and Mines of Spain. Joshua also enjoys drawing, hiking, and running, and ran both cross country and track for Loras College.
