About Elizabeth Gill, LMHC

Elizabeth Gill began her career at Life Connections through our Intern Program during the 2021-2022 academic year. During this time, she provided therapeutic services through office based, school-based, and group-based modalities. Elizabeth is now a Master’s Level Therapist in the state of Iowa serving the Clinton office.

 Elizabeth completed her undergraduate degree at Loras College where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. Following undergraduate graduation in 2019 Elizabeth began to pursue her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and recently graduated in May of 2022. 

Elizabeth’s passion is working with children and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, Trauma related disorders, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Elizabeth’s main approach to therapy is through Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Elizabeth often draws from various treatment modalities as well to provide the best care to each client and their specific goals. Elizabeth’s focus on therapy is to provide a safe place for her client’s to feel emotionally supported and validated. Elizabeth is aware that no person will experience a disorder the same way, which is why each session is modified to the client and what they hope to gain from therapy.
