About Audrey Thayer, LMSW

Audrey has been working at Life Connections since August of 2021. Audrey is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). Audrey offers assessments for Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) and provides school-based therapy services at Life Connections. Audrey is able to provide individual and family based services as well.

Audrey graduated from Kaplan University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Audrey received her Master of Social Work degree at Clarke University in 2021. While attending college, Audrey interned for The Robert Young Center in their mental health inpatient, crisis stabilization, child and adolescent and group home settings.

Audrey specializes in treating depression, anxiety, adjustment related stressors, anger management and trauma. Audrey works with all ages ranging from as young as 4 years old to the elderly. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and takes a strengths-based and a person-centered approach. Audrey has found that children open up and feel relaxed when working with her, even when topics are extremely difficult.
