About Dr. Sheila McCrea, PsyD

Dr. Sheila McCrea is new to Life Connections. Sheila graduated Quincy University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Sheila went on to earn her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, in 2013. She specializes in adults, ages 18+ and has worked with a wide variety of populations and diagnoses in her career. Sheila primarily focuses on CBT and DBT treatment interventions, but introduces other modalities such as mindfulness, person-centered, and REBT, as needed. Sheila views client collaboration and rapport as key to successful treatment.
