About Erin Aude, LMHC
Erin Aude is our Clinton, Iowa office Clincal Director. She began her career at Life Connections in February of 2018. She is a therapist and the Therapy Director in the Clinton office. Erin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has experience working with clients of all ages, but specializes in children ages 3-12. Erin has been working in the mental health field since 2006. Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2008 and earned her Master of Science in education counseling in 2015. She completed her internship at Robert Young Center and worked there for two years before joining Life Connections. Erin has completed several trainings throughout her career, including Bridges out of Poverty, Mental Health First Aid, and Trauma Informed Care. Erin is also a registered facilitator for the Circle of Security Parenting Program. Erin enjoys working with children and has experience with treating mood disorders, anxiety, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She also has a special interest in treating childhood trauma and healing its negative impact on bonding and attachment. Erin primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, play techniques, and Attachment Theory in her practice.
