Hannah began her career at Life Connections in August of 2021. Hannah earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University and currently holds a temporary license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (tLMFT) in the state of Iowa. For her undergraduate degree, she attended Olivet Nazarene University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education. While obtaining her master’s degree, Hannah interned in settings where she worked with couples and individuals. She also worked with college students both individually and in group settings. Hannah currently provides individual, couple, and family counseling at the Bettendorf location. Hannah provides a warm, empathetic, and collaborative atmosphere for her clients to help them meet their goals and improve their daily lives. Hannah utilizes an integrative approach to therapy by selecting the most effective approach for each client’s needs throughout the therapeutic process. She especially enjoys utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and a combination of Contextual and Experiential Family Therapy. Hannah has also completed the Level 1 training in the Gottman Method and uses these concepts along with Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy in her work with couples. Hannah enjoys supporting her clients and offering them a space to heal and grow through life challenges.
