About Jada Mathison, LMHC

Jada’s career with Life Connections began in August of 2019. She is a school-based therapist at Whittier Elementary as well as the Clinton Therapy Manager. Jada received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Jada is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) that works primarily with children ages 5-12. She has training in play therapy and is working to become a Registered Play Therapist. Jada additionally has training in attachment-based play between child and caregiver. Jada additionally uses CBT and DBT techniques to assist clients in meeting their therapy goals. Jada enjoys working with clients experiencing a variety of symptoms, but especially those who have experienced foster care and/or adoption and anxiety related disorders.
