About Katie Shaull, LISW

Katie Shaull began her career at Life Connections in November of 2018. Katie is a Independently Licensed Social Worker (LISW), MSW and provides individual and family counseling to adults and children. Katie Shaull provides tele-therapy services for various Life Connection’s Offices and is the Therapy Manager for our Algona, Humboldt, Mason City and Cedar Rapids Offices.

Katie attended Mt. Mercy College where she graduated in 2007 with her bachelor’s degree in social work, and a minor in psychology. She received her master’s degree in social work from St. Ambrose University in 2008. Katie obtained her Independent license in Social Work in Nov. 2021. While in college, Katie interned for The Arc of East Central Iowa in Cedar Rapids, IA and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.

Katie specializes in depression, anxiety, adjustment related stressors, and sensory based disorders. She works well with populations from as young as 4 years old to older adults. She is trained to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Katie often draws from multiple treatment modalities to create a customized treatment plan that fits the client’s mental health goals. Katie focuses on providing therapy that is both strengths-based and person-centered.
