About Ryan Carlson, LMHC

Ryan graduated from Loras College in 2025 with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He completed an internship with Life Connections during the 2024-25 school year and began working for them in the Summer of 2025. Ryan uses a CBT-centered approach with elements of person centered therapy and ACT. He works with a wide variety of clients from children to adults dealing with concerns such as trauma, anxiety, grief, and depression. Ryan offers telehealth and in person services in the Cedar Rapids office.
