About Wanda Strunk, LMSW
Wanda has been working for Life Connections since 2020. Wanda is a Licensed Master of Social Work and is a clinical social worker. She provides individual, couples and family therapy as well as assessments for Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS). Wanda is currently a school based therapist working with children ages kindergarten through 5th grade, as well as seeing adult clients.
Wanda has worked in the mental health field since 2006, returning to college to receive her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Ashford University and masters in Social Work from the University of Iowa.
Wanda has served on community boards including The Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center as a board member and past President, The Peer Support Advisory Board for the state of Iowa and St Ambrose University student peer support. Wanda was involved in development and implementation of the regional crisis intervention system during it’s pilot program in Iowa, as well as the Integrated Home Health program in its pilot phase. Wanda is currently a member of the Amvets and volunteers with a local homeless shelter, elder services including hospice and Gildas Club of the QCs.
